An over-the-range (OTR) microwave saves counter space and doubles as a range hood, but it is one of the trickiest appliances to install. It needs to be mounted securely to the wall and cabinet above, connected to a dedicated outlet, and vented either to the outside or set to recirculate through a charcoal filter. Our team handles the full installation, from mounting to electrical to venting, so your microwave is safe, level, and properly exhausted. We install OTR microwaves across the GTA, including Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, Vaughan, and surrounding areas. If you are replacing a range hood with an OTR microwave or upgrading an old unit, we make sure the mounting and venting are done to code.
Secure Wall and Cabinet Mounting
OTR microwaves are heavy and must be anchored properly. We mount the bracket, secure the unit to the cabinet above, and verify it can support the weight.
Dedicated Electrical Outlet
An OTR microwave should be on a dedicated circuit. We verify the outlet is safe and correctly placed behind the unit.
Range Venting Setup
We configure the venting to either exhaust outside through existing ductwork or recirculate with a charcoal filter kit, depending on your kitchen setup.
Old Range Hood or Microwave Removal
We remove and dispose of your old range hood or microwave as part of the installation.
